Since 2015, More than 2,500 9-12th graders throughout South Florida have attended the Foundation’s S.T.E.M. and Youth Empowerment Summits where students collectively address social justice issues in their communities and schools while also learning
how to prepare for career opportunities in Science and Technology.
In the summer of 2018, The Trayvon Martin Foundation in partnership with Miami Dade College (North Campus) will provide several dozen area
students scholarships to attend STEM Camp where they will learn about Robotics, Coding & Drones.
The Trayvon Martin Foundation has many other youth STEM initiatives planned for younger students in grades 9-12. All STEM activities are offered to youth participants free of charge and program supplies, transportation and meals are provided when applicable.
